Frequently asked questions

Why use Polygon network instead of Ethereum?+

Polygon gas fees are ~$0.01, Ethereum is $5-20. Polygon USDT is the same USDT — just cheaper to send. All major exchanges (Binance, Coinbase, MoonPay) support Polygon.

Is it safe to give my card details to MoonPay?+

MoonPay is regulated in the EU and operates legally. Works with Visa/Mastercard networks, uses PCI DSS standards. We don't see your card data — only the crypto they forward.

What if I send the wrong amount?+

Reply to the email with the TX hash and explain. If you underpaid — top up. If you overpaid — we'll refund the difference within 1-2 business days.

What if I send to the wrong address?+

If you sent to some random address — funds are lost. Always verify the last 4 characters. If you sent to us via a different network (e.g. BSC instead of Polygon) — that's fine, we'll still receive.

How long until you receive the payment?+

Polygon — within 2-5 min. Ethereum — within 5-15 min. We'll confirm via email within 30 min.
